Beaver news: 2011
Its been a busy year for Beavers - we've done so much its not hard to see where the time has gone!
Last Autumn, we started the year with a litter pick and ramble, and got to grips with Geocaching - check it out
on www.geocaching.com! We tried to stay outside for as long as possible, with backwoods cooking (in the rain) and a visit to ST Peters church to do some bell ringing.

We also tried out hand at candle making and learned all about bees, learned some Karate, and visited the Army museum and the Army medical corp museum, which was nice and gruesome! We finished the term with an Egyptian night and some Christmas crafts - before heading off to the Pantomime.
Spring rolled around and we started the term with some Dinosaur fun (Dino Pooh anyone?) and a visit to Pets at Home. We took part in the RSPB birdwatch, and made bird feeders.
We went to Laser run, made some fun crafts and some pancakes. As the weather improved, we went on a ramble, earned our emergency aid badges and made pancakes.
The highlight of the term was the swimming gala, where we came 2nd - a brilliant swim from everyone, and especially the non swimmers in the gang, who did us proud. Well done!
Inevitably we reached the summer term, and had lots of outdoor fun. We made boats from junk, and sailed them down the river.

We did more backwoods cooking, making pizza, popcorn and dough sticks. We had a "robin Hood" taster evening, with bow and arrows, and we went to the park in Farnborough.
The highlight of the term was our annual water fight...a soggy fun time was had by all!
